The new campaign continues the storyline of previous campaigns, seeking to strengthen Ayuda en Acción's position as a global leader in creating sustainable opportunities from childhood, with a special emphasis on education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Stories that inspire the future
Young people like Machal and Julieth, the faces of the campaign, show that opportunities not only transform lives, but also inspire people to dream of a better future.
Machal, from Mozambique, had a simple goal: to raise and sell chicks. Thanks to the support of the Work4Progress program, that initial idea became a business that now supports her family and pays for her younger brother's education. “I didn't have big dreams, I just wanted to get started. But when I started making money, everything started to improve,” she says with a mixture of humility and pride. Today, she leads a group of women entrepreneurs and actively participates in training programs that reinforce her autonomy.
On the other side of the world, in Colombia, Claudia Julieth, an agroforestry engineering student, leads the marketing of cocoa at the Mira Farmers' Association (AGROMIRA). Her story is part of a generation of young people who not only want decent jobs, but also want to transform their communities through sustainability and social justice.
