Ayuda en Acción has been working in Bolivia since 1990, both directly and through local partners, implementing projects in five of the country’s nine departments. We develop coordination processes with public and private institutions and civil society movements in favour of children, youth and women as priority groups.
Adolescents carry out an entrepreneurship project or business idea as part of their training activities.
People benefited from 164 community protection mechanisms.
Producers improved their productive capacities by generating business.
We strengthen technical, technological and productive training for young people aged 16 to 29, aligning it with the productive vocation of their territories. We also promote women’s access to traditionally male-dominated careers and encourage self-employment through entrepreneurship. In addition, we foster partnerships with educational and governmental actors to guarantee sustainability and local development.
We work to improve local production chains through innovation and technology in balance with the environment. We strengthen productive associations, promoting women’s leadership and facilitating access to financing. We promote the use of technology and training in sustainable production, including drones and practices that are resilient to climate change. In addition, we encourage commercialization with our own brands and reforestation for the sustainability of beekeeping production.
