Whistleblowing channel

Whistleblowing channel

All stakeholders with whom we work have a confidential, independent and secure whistleblowing channel at their disposal. With this ethical channel, we aim to identify bad practices in order to take measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future. For people without access to the Internet, we also have an alternative whistleblowing channel that we inform about in the rural communities where we work.

European Commission Humanitarian Aid Department (ECHO): Ayuda en Acción has been certified as a European Union Partner for the multiannual period 2021-2027.

Digital Pact for the Protection of People

We are adhered to the Digital Pact for the Protection of Individuals, an initiative promoted by the Spanish Data Protection Agency, to reinforce the right to data protection while promoting innovation, ethics and competitiveness in organizations, as well as to raise awareness among citizens and especially among minors.

World Compliance Association

We are an honorary member of the World Compliance Association in order to promote and make visible our efforts to integrate into our management model mechanisms to monitor the risks to which we are exposed, with the ultimate goal of seeking the highest quality in our intervention.

MDS

The MDS is an inter-institutional program in which around 180 organizations are members. Its main objective is to report "misconduct" between organizations in order to gather information and mitigate the hiring of employees who in previous organizations have committed some type of sexual harassment, abuse or exploitation during their time in those organizations, thus reinforcing that the selection process is of suitable personnel.

Code of Conduct of the Spanish Development NGO Coordinator, La Coordinadora
As a founding member of the Coordinadora de ONGD España, we have adhered to its Code of Conduct. See Code (Spanish).
Institutional risk control and management policy
It defines the principles for identifying, analyzing, assessing, managing and communicating the risks associated with our strategy and activities.
Procurement policy
Its objective is to ensure that procurement processes are transparent, impartial, relevant and aligned with rigorous management and consistent with the standards of our Code of Conduct. See approval questionnaire (Spanish). See Policy (Spanish)
Environmental policy
It establishes the reference framework that should govern the conduct of Ayuda en Acción and the people who form part of it in environmental matters, ensuring co-responsible behavior with our environment. See Policy.

Protocol against sexual and gender-based harassment
At Ayuda en Acción we are committed to zero tolerance of sexual and gender-based harassment, as well as the firm rejection of all offensive, discriminatory or abusive behavior and attitudes. That is why we have developed this protocol that allows us to work to ensure a safe environment both in terms of prevention and action in the event of any act of harassment. See the Protocol
Volunteering policy
It guides volunteer service in our organization towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and always in coherence with our mission, principles, values and ethical standards. See Policy (Spanish).
Conflict of interest management policy
Its objective is to ensure that the decision-making process is impartial, always prioritizing the interests of the organization over any personal interest or benefit of its members. See Policy (Spanish).
Security policy
It defines a reference framework to reduce the exposure of the organization's assets and people linked to our intervention, to an acceptable risk level; and consequently, allows us to continue working in difficult settings. See Policy (Spanish).
Money laundering and terrorist financing risk management policy
It establishes the guidelines governing the management of the risk of money laundering and terrorist financing to which the organization is exposed both internally and externally, with the ultimate goal of being able to prevent them and, should they occur, to have suitable mechanisms in place to mitigate their impact. Policy for collaboration with the private sector
It defines the criteria to ensure that the companies we collaborate with are aligned with the principles and ethical standards of the organization. See Policy.
