Ayuda en Acción has been present in Ecuador since 1986 creating opportunities, mainly in rural areas, through sustainable production chains, access to clean and safe water, and the promotion of rights.

People with access to a safe and accessible water supply.
People in a situation of human mobility attended.
We fight poverty and inequality by creating productive opportunities for people living in rural areas. We make this possible through the circular economy and fair trade, finding tools to increase their income and improve their quality of life. More than 2,600 people participate each year in sustainable value chains for cocoa, coffee, dairy products, small animal farming, etc.
Peasant women have the highest illiteracy rate in Ecuador, as well as being the lowest earners despite working the most hours on average. Thanks to the work of Ayuda en Acción, more than 1,200 women are economically empowered every year through sustainable production chains. We protect children and adolescents in the communities where we work. We work to ensure they have safe water and we promote respectful parenting and full recognition of their rights.
Through the construction and rehabilitation of drinking water systems, we guarantee sustainable access to vulnerable communities and train them to manage these systems.
We promote the social and economic integration of people in situations of human mobility, and the communities that welcome them. We provide humanitarian assistance in emergency situations such as floods, earthquakes, etc. We support the integration of the population in a situation of human mobility through economic reactivation, legal advice, educational reintegration, psychosocial assistance, strengthening of labor capacities, generation of entrepreneurship, rights schools, citizen participation, creation of networks and spaces for exchange. The actions are carried out with a comprehensive approach.
