The Global Hunger Index (GHI) report is an annual snapshot of hunger in the world published by Alliance2015, the network of European NGOs of which we are a member. Entitled ‘Global Hunger Index 2025: 20 years of tracking progress: time to renew the commitment to zero hunger’, the report paints a bleak picture. Hunger in the world has barely declined since 2016, and the stagnation in progress is pushing the Zero Hunger goal for 2030 further away.
