The Global Hunger Index (GHI) report is an annual snapshot of world hunger published by Alliance2015, the European NGO network of which we are a member. Entitled “Global Hunger Index 2024: How gender justice can advance climate resilience and zero hunger,” this report explores the link between gender, food security and the climate crisis. It also reveals a bleak outlook for achieving Zero Hunger by 2030: at the current rate, the world won't reach low levels of hunger until 2160.
