The 2023 Global Hunger Index (GHI) report reveals a worrying stagnation in the fight against hunger worldwide. The hunger situation is still considered moderate, but what stands out is that after many years of progress and advances, this fight has remained stagnant since 2015. This is especially worrying for youth, who have to develop in a food system that is harmful to them and which, moreover, is the one they will inherit, with its consequent problems and challenges.
