Areas of compliance

Risk control

We ensure that our objectives are met by managing the risks to which we are exposed and turning them into opportunities.

Ethics

What we do is important, but so is how we do it. Ethics is a priority in our daily work.

We ensure compliance with legal obligations in the countries where we work, as well as with our internal regulatory framework through internal audits.

Accountability

We are accountable to our stakeholders to build trust and continue to improve our effectiveness and efficiency.

Acknowledgments and institutional commitments

Partner of the European Union/FPA

European Commission Humanitarian Aid Department (ECHO): Ayuda en Acción has been certified as a European Union Partner for the multiannual period 2021-2027.

Digital Pact for the Protection of People

We are adhered to the Digital Pact for the Protection of Individuals, an initiative promoted by the Spanish Data Protection Agency, to reinforce the right to data protection while promoting innovation, ethics and competitiveness in organizations, as well as to raise awareness among citizens and especially among minors.

World Compliance Association

We are an honorary member of the World Compliance Association in order to promote and make visible our efforts to integrate into our management model mechanisms to monitor the risks to which we are exposed, with the ultimate goal of seeking the highest quality in our intervention.

MDS

The MDS is an inter-institutional program in which around 180 organizations are members. Its main objective is to report "misconduct" between organizations in order to gather information and mitigate the hiring of employees who in previous organizations have committed some type of sexual harassment, abuse or exploitation during their time in those organizations, thus reinforcing that the selection process is of suitable personnel.
