Impulsa Empleo Joven is a project of Ayuda en Acción framed within the actions co-financed by the European Union through the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy that starts as an instrument to fight youth unemployment by providing opportunities for the future and contributing to the life project of young people, offering guidance, training and non-working practices in companies allowing their integration into the labor market with more tools and skills.
The Spanish labor market
For decades, the Spanish labor market has been dragging along important inequalities that hinder the incorporation of young people, deepening social, territorial and gender gaps. The youth poverty and exclusion rate (3.8) is almost four points higher than the European average.
This lack of job prospects impacts on multiple facets of young people's lives, making emancipation impossible, for example; 29.9 is the average age of parental emancipation in Spain, or enhancing negative aspects such as isolation and unwanted loneliness.
From an innovative perspective of socio-community intervention, Ayuda en Acción has launched Impulsa Empleo Joven as a support tool for all those people who are looking for a job opportunity, also creating a network between the Public Administration, companies, entities and people participating in the program.
We offer the necessary tools for job search
We design individualized training programs for young people from 16 to 29 years old, registered in the National Youth Guarantee System, with the aim of promoting their insertion and improving their job opportunities through training for employment from a comprehensive approach. How do we do it? With an innovative work methodology with the following work focuses:
- Individualized accompaniment: we help in the job search process, identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement, adapting to your needs and outlining an individualized plan.
- Enhancing soft skills, to master and improve communication skills, learn how to focus CV and how to face a job interview, as well as how to update the tools to find a job.
- Technical training: to update technical knowledge on training to improve incorporation into the labor market.
- Internships in companies: we facilitate contact with companies and offer the possibility of doing non-working internships in companies in emerging sectors.
The Impulsa empleo Joven program will start in September in Galicia (A Coruña), Asturias (Gijón), Extremadura (Mérida and Almendralejo), Andalusia (Málaga), Valencia (Valencia), Castilla-La Mancha (Ciudad Real and Puertollano) and Madrid (Vicálvaro).
